Jaroslav Paur was a Czech painter of the period of civilism, realism and abstraction. The motif of the Sun or the Moon, which was already used in his paintings during the 1960s, was transformed in the 1970s into the form of an artificial satellite, which would remain Pauro's characteristic feature. Darkly glowing celestial bodies float above the city expanding into an endless structure.
