Petr Jaroš devoted himself to landscape painting and was a pupil of the romantic landscape painter Hugo Ullik. Later he was also a painter of the court opera in Vienna, Jan Václav Kautsky. His harmonious landscapes come mostly from the surroundings of Domažlice.
