František Vladimír Foit (1900 - 1971) HEAD OF A BLACK GIRL

František Vladimír Foit found the focus of his work in Africa. He traveled there several times together with zoological expeditions, later also with his family. During the coup, the Foit family property was nationalized. They did not want to return to Czechoslovakia, but maintained contacts with their family and some institutions. They eventually settled in Nairobi. F. V. Foit later became a professor at Kenyatta College, University of Nairobi.
