From the opinion of PhDr. Nadězda Blažíčková-Horová: "The Alley in Krumlov is the undisputed work of Bedřich Havránek, who collected numerous subjects in Český Krumlov for thirty years.He went from partial shots of the town, fascinated by the Krumlov gate as well as individual narrow streets and old houses, to the overall cityscape. In his shots of Krumlov, both early and late, Havránek aptly captured and conveyed the architectural face of Krumlov."
