Alfred Kubin was an Austrian expressionist graphic artist, illustrator and writer born in Bohemia. The drawings and graphics balance on the edge of a dream, they are often full of ghosts and creatures from the underworld. Wildly hatched drawings with decadent themes depict encounters with strange beings, the depths of the psyche and dark dreams.
