In 2019, he travelled across Australia with his wife and two friends from south to north and back. What attracted him, apart from the fantastic natural beauty experiences, was the indigenous culture and their paintings of deities and animals under rock overhangs. In a place where Australian Aborigines walked hundreds of kilometers to get the most precious thing they needed for their rituals - colored clay, he collected a few samples of a range of colours from yellow to red ochre. The adventure involved, the playfulness and joy of finding and using the clay is an integral part of the process of making, as is the wonder of seeing the color emerge from a clay sample only by wiping it in the studio. Apart from Australia, he began to search for pigments and collect them in the Czech and Slovak landscapes, which he likened to the behavior of prehistoric hunters: 'I wish myself a good hunt.' Exhibited in 2022 at the Václav Špála Gallery. Published by František Skála, Ernesta Zmeták Art Gallery in Nové Zámky, 2021, p. 40.
