Walter Schott (1861 - 1938) A PLAYER AT BOWLS

The famous Meissen figure of a girl carrying a golden ball in her right hand and a flowing drapery in the other was designed by the German sculptor Walter Schott for the famous Meissen porcelain factory. The model, which dates from the early 20th century, is listed under the serial number Q.180; the specific color is number 27, serial number 137. The offered Meissen figure is in excellent condition with no signs of damage. The porcelain factory mark on the underside: two blue crossed sabers.
