Characteristic of David Vávra's visual expression are mainly colourful compositions that playfully portray often unexpected and inspiring experiences from landscapes and architecture. In capturing moments from the experiences of the places he travels through on his journeys, whether on noisy trails or personal expeditions - from the sea and distant destinations, to cities, to mountains - he desires to express not only what is, but also what is not visible at first glance, through a seemingly realistic conception.
