Ludmila Padrtová is one of the leading representatives of Czech lyrical abstraction. She created radical abstractions between 1956 and 1961, and then stopped working altogether. She then returned to it only in 2011, when she smoothly resumed the next phase. The collection presented here is a playful series with the titles Race for Life!, Stray Animal, Who are you barking at?, Who waits long enough, doesn't wait., Grandma is chasing us, I call her Chókoládkó. Even today Ludmila Padrtová and her visual playful poetry are still being discovered. Inspired by nature, she was able to transfer the experience of it into her work without suggesting anything. As a woman artist, she was a pioneer - creating abstractions at a time when it was undesirable not only to exhibit them, but also to create them. Six works are adjusted in one frame, the size of one piece is given. Newly framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
