CLASSICISM FAMILY TREE

The family tree painted on a linen scroll hanging on cantilevered poles dates back to the German von Maltitz family, an old Meissen-Saxon noble family with a family seat of the same name near Mochov. The first recorded representative of this particular family tree is Hans von Maltitz (1399 - 1466), who is referred to by the figure of a knight with a black and silver striped coat of arms, rooster feathers in the helmet crown and a red ribbon. In the younger generations, the remarks 'he is alive' occur at the time of the work.
