Stanislav Menšík (1912 - 1970) CHRIST AND THE APOSTLES

Stanislav Menšík was a self-taught artist originally from Svatý Kopeček. He did not manage to get into any of the studios and educated himself or through private consultations. He developed a distinctive and engaging stained glass style, whose creative peak is often described as the period 1942 - 1944. Menšík was followed by the Gestapo and subsequently moved to Moravia. Stanislav Menšík significantly influenced the artistic life of Olomouc. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
