Jan Vaněk (1891 - 1962) TWO DESIGN ARMCHAIRS

Two design chairs by designer Jan Vanek, a prominent Czech furniture designer and manufacturer, architect and co-founder of the United Arts and Crafts Factory. He worked with important architects of his time, such as Jan Kotěra and Josef Gočár, among others, and contributed to the furnishing of Villa Tugendhat. His furniture stands out for its clean and timeless lines. He designed the model of the chair on offer at the end of his career, around the time of the 1958 Expo, and it is classified in the Brussels style. Completely restored.
