Jiří Bradáček (1922 - 1984) SITTING FEMALE

The starting point of most of Bradáček's works was the female figure, even when it was at first sight an abstract sculpture. There is always a female shape, or at least a detail of it, encrypted. Since the late 1950s, renowned critics have followed the work of Jiří Bradáček, probably most notably Jiří Šetlík. Bradáček created a number of free and decorative sculptures for North Bohemian cities such as Děčín, Most, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem.
