A charming carving of an Art Nouveau putti threatened by a snake by Austrian sculptor Ferdinand Dobblinger. In the past, the motif of the putti with the snake was used as an allegory of the Thirty Years' War, with the snake representing a sinful act from the perspective of Catholics in general symbolism.
