Josef Loukota (1879 - 1967) LAUGHTER

This drawing testifies to Loukota’s superb drawing skills. Figures captured in movement are one of the main motifs that the artist portrays in his works. He is also an acclaimed portrait painter. Josef Loukota studied under Emanuel Liška and Karel Mašek at Prague’s School of Decorative Arts in 1896–1899, and under Václav Brožík and Hanuš Schwaiger at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1899–1900. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
