Luděk Havelka (1908 - 1963) SWIMMER

Luděk Havelka studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Prof. Lidický, then as a scholarship holder in Florence. He was a sculptor, medallist, devoted to figurative sculpture and portraits. He worked as a teacher in Zlín and Uherské Hradiště and was a member of the Association of Medal Artists. The offered exceptional sculpture of a Swimmer was created at the time when the sculptor worked as a professor at the School of Art in Zlín. The sculpture is accompanied by the author's drawing draft with dating.
