František Jiroudek (1914 - 1991) STUDY FOR THE DRESSING ROOM FOR THE NATIONAL THEATER

František Jiroudek loved the theater environment and painted it in all its shapes and forms. He liked to paint dressing rooms, scenes, actors' dialogues. Later he mainly devoted himself to portrait, nude, figure composition and landscape. These were medium and smaller formats. It is represented in the Czech Museum of Fine Arts in Prague, in NG Praha, in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, in the town hall of Lyngby in Denmark and in the art gallery in Toronto.
