Věra Drnková-Žárecká (1922 - ????) PERSPECTIVE

Věra Drnková-Zářecká is a Czech textile and costume designer. In 1959, she took part in an exhibition as a member of the group of textile artists Group 7, she created classical tapestries in Jindřichov Hradec and Valašské Meziříčí, but also devoted herself to the art protis technique. The piece Perspektiva is unique primarily because of its perfect work with the possibilities of textile techniques and the choice of colors, which underlines the plasticity of the threads, which are released from the main mass of the tapestry and live a life of their own.
