David Vávra is a personality of the Renaissance type - architect, actor, poet, painter. He studied architecture at CTU and AVU in Prague and is a co-founder of the legendary Sklep theater. He is known as an actor in successful films as well as a guide to Czech TV's road movie: Buzzing cities and Buzzing traces. The villa of music composer Zdenek Liška by architect Zdenek Plesník (1914 - 2003) is located on the slope of Zlín's "Hollywood" Kudlov. One of the few real villas designed after 1948, it remarkably develops the expression of traditional Baťa brick architecture, complemented by elements of late functionalism and post-war decorative classicism. Already repaired by today's owner, at the time of filming Buzzing cities rather reminiscent of an abandoned torso where foxes say goodnight. The one in the foreground is from the well-known Zlín toy designer Libuše Niklová.
