In 1911, after being accepted into the Czech Amateur Photographers' Club in Prague, Drtikol met Augustin Škarda, a civil engineer and amateur photographer. Together they began working on a series of oil prints with motifs of old Prague. The result was a unique portfolio of fifty photographs from the courtyards and backyards of old Prague. Specifically, it is about board 30 - No. 286-I. The album was sold by the Artěl association, one of the most important institutions of Czech applied art and design of the first half of the 20th century, either as a whole or individually and also as a postcard. The photograph is published in the monograph Fárová A. & Doležal S.: František Drtikol, Stages of Life and Photographic Work / Secession - Art Deco - Abstraction / 1, 2. Svět, Prague 2012, volume one, no. 61.
