Václav Hejna belonged to a group of young, talented authors called Seven in October, whose name originated from the number of founding members, who were Josef Liesler, Zdenek Seydl, Arnošt Paderlík, Jan Rafael Michálek, Jan Lukas, Václav Plátek and Václav Hejna, and the months of their first exhibitions. Václav Hejna was imprisoned for his provocative work, but he followed up with an even more artistically advanced work and created spatial objects and assemblages and used elements of urban life in his paintings. In his expressive speech, Václav Hejna over time moved to a completely non-figurative work. On the back, exhibition labels - from an exhibition in several Czech cities and from the R. Creuze Paris Gallery.
